The threat of murder fuels the story of two brothers who unexpectedly meet at their mother’s desert home. Everything conspires to create a sense of tension. The play calls for a setting of unobtrusive precision; the kitchen, an example of tasteful orderliness at the beginning of the play, was trashed by the end when the fraternal encounter spirals out of control.
