Tartuffe by Moliere

Hypocrisy is in full bloom as a bourgeois family must suffer under the thumb of their new guest: Tartuffe, a con man who poses as a holy man. Setting this production in the kitchen allowed for an examination of class conflicts as well as an exposé of all manner of appetites. A luxurious 17th-century Parisian home was dressed with period details and copious culinary appointments.
